Partnership with QCCA: we share the premises, The Dome has a thriving partnership with QCCA. We raise similar approximately £100,000p.a to run the club. The partnership has been running now for over 10 years and in 2019 we formalized this with a Memorandum of Understanding.
Last year we secured one year funding for a Sports Development Coordinator. Frances White, started work for us a few months ago and she is working to reopen programmes to run from Easter. She has been very flexible during this period, and she ran the virtual cookery and dance on zoom.
We secured Mayors Office Police and Crime (MOPAC) funding. This was funds from the Mayor of London to address the serious youth violence in the area.
We have a project called Off The Hook with Michael Watson, MBE as an ambassador, in partnership with the MET helping young people steer away from crime. It has been very successful we are running a further course, the next one we look to have a lot of interest from young women.
The staff have engaged with 203 new members since the summer, this is a significant number given Covid restrictions.
We hold an Annual Summer Concert organised by the trustees where we raise around £7,000 per year, it is held in a local church and is very successful. Sadly we could not hold it last year because of Covid but we are hopeful we can come back with a concert in the autumn.

National Lottery Coronavirus Community Fund: Online Baking & Dance
We hosted Zoom baking and dance classes for young people aged 8-14.
The baking was really the most popular one. Food was packaged up and sent to those interested and then together they each made the recipe. It was great to see the children keen to try new foods.
The dance was a success, encouraging young people to get active and try a different style of dance each week.
Camden Youth Safety Fund: YES Project
We run an enterprise project where we recruited older young people to have workshops on setting up business and finishing with time running a market stall in the local Camden Lock Market. Working alongside Labtech. The group have been able to meet up and learn about setting up a market stall and on line trading. They also launched their gaming business- GAMESCAPE- and traded on Camden Market for two weeks in August.
Haverstock CIL & Sport England: Sporting Activities
GOAL YC see sports as core to our work, thankfully this is now able to open up in the coming weeks. We recruited coaches and youth workers already trained in coaching to start up football and cricket our most popular sports.
